Beat the summer heat in Rocky Point, on Sandy Beach, or in Cholla Bay!
The water is warm, winds are settling down into breezes, and Border wait times have dwindled. More people now realize that having ID ready as they pull up to the booth helps! (Many people would sit in line, then get to the booth only to THEN start digging through bags and purses for ID. Have it ready, it can cut your time at the booth in HALF!).
A host of outdoor activities are available, from all kinds of water sports to simply sitting at a local taco stand, the pool bar at the condos, the balconies of the local finer restaurants, or the back patio of your own house or condo.
Remember, all you need for getting back into the U.S. is a Government issued ID (Driver's License is the most popular), and some proof of citizenship, which for most people is their Birth Certificate. The latter is best for those under 18 years of age. Passports are best for everyone, but not yet fully required. Currently, it looks like June 2009 for absolute Passport requirements.
